Frequently asked questions

Find quick answers to the most common questions about registration,
travel, accommodation, and the PSK 2027 Tokyo conference.

Registration & Travel

When does registration close?

Registrations close on 31 October 2026. The registration window you select determines how much PSK subsidises: Window 1 is 100% covered, Window 2 is 75% covered with a $1,250 contribution, and Window 3 is 50% covered with a $2,500 contribution.

What happens if I cancel my registration?

If you cancel after 31 January 2027, a minimum cancellation fee of $500 will apply, and additional supplier fees may apply depending on commitments already made.

What happens after I register?

You will receive a confirmation email along with further event details and next steps.

Can I change my registration after submitting?

Yes. Please contact DNA Events & Travel if your details change. Note that some changes may not be possible after certain cut-off dates. Beyond certain cut-off dates there may be items non-refundable or partial refundable.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes. Please indicate this during registration and DNA Events & Travel will assist with arrangements. Additional costs will apply. Seek approval from your manager for pre or post conference travel extension.

Do I need to apply for annual leave?

Friday 14th May, Monday 17th May and Tuesday 18th May are designated conference workdays. Annual leave is not required for these days.

If you are travelling on any other days before or after the conference, you will need to apply for annual leave.

Are airport transfers included?

Yes, for attendees travelling on the main group flights. Please look out for staff holding PSK signage on arrival. If you are travelling outside these times, we can assist with alternative transfers (additional fees apply).

Staff Registration & Room Upgrades

What is included in my Staff Registration?

Your registration includes return flights, twin share accommodation, conference sessions, welcome event, gala dinner, meals included within the conference itinerary, transfers to and from the airport on group dates, and complimentary travel insurance.

Own Room Upgrade - availability and salary sacrifice

The Own Room Upgrade is optional and can be selected during registration. It is paid via salary sacrifice through PSK payroll.

  • Salary sacrificed as a pre-tax payroll deduction
  • 12 payroll deductions of $100 pre-tax per pay (approx. $68 net for majority of staff)
  • First deduction: 9 November 2026 · Final deduction: 14 April 2027
  • Actual after-tax cost depends on your personal tax rate - estimated savings start from 32%

Partner Registration & Payment

Can I bring a partner?

Yes. Partner Registration is $3,500 GST free and includes return economy airfares from metro cities ex Australia, conference attendance, welcome event, conference sessions, gala dinner, meals within the conference itinerary, and airport / event transfers where applicable. Accommodation is not included - because partners stay with their PSK delegate, the delegate is required to purchase the Own Room Upgrade (via salary sacrifice) when bringing a partner.

How can I pay for my Partner/Spouse Registration fee?

Partner registration may either be:

  • Paid directly to DNA Events, or
  • Deducted through PSK as a post-tax payroll deduction - 12 fortnightly deductions of $291.66 commencing 9 November 2026.
